    Come to the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum for special school break open days! The museum’s Wildlife Education Center, 25 Boulevard, Cornwall-on-Hudson, will be open Wednesday, March 27 – Saturday, March 30 from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m.

  • Live theatre returns to the Ritz

    As part of its centennial celebration, the Ritz Theater, 107 Broadway in Newburgh, will host “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”, a one-act musical comedy produced by Hatmaker’s Attic Productions, on Friday, March 22 at 8 p.m., Saturday, March 23 at 3 p.m and 8 p.m, and Sunday, March 24 at 3pm.

  • Creative Impressions from two new artists

    Creative Impressions; the March exhibition at the Wallkill River School Art Gallery, offers fresh art by two new artists; Lorraine Furey and Susan Wilson. Reception is free and open to the public; March 9, 5-7pm at the Wallkill River School and Art Gallery in Montgomery.

  • Take a winter hike at Fuller Mountain

    Orange County Land Trust will lead a winter hike- either on foot or snowshoe, depending on snow coverage- on Saturday, February 9 beginning at 10 am at Fuller Mountain Preserve, the Land Trust’s 255-acre nature preserve off Bowen Road in the Town of Warwick.

  • A blues triple threat comes to Marlboro

  • Vaguely familiar objects at Garrison

    Swiss-born painter Liliane Tomasko is known for her inviting paintings of vaguely familiar objects and spaces. She began her undergraduate education in sculpture at the Chelsea College of Art and Design in London and received an MA in sculpture from the Royal Academy Schools, London.
